In 1958 when Evald Carlson worked as a salesman, he was asked a question by the rescue services at Bromma Airport, Stockholm, Sweden. "Would it be possible to cut a hole in a fuselage with a chain saw?" In those years, such a test had not been tried before.  Evald promised to research this effort. As Evald drove away from the airport he was thinking about how he could find an efficient power source for this new cutting tool. His idea was to combine the power source in the chain saw with the rescue services' abrasive cutting wheel.  Days later Evald returned to Bromma Airport and put his invention to use. Soon the teams found it was very easy to cut through the fuselage.   Many individuals still call Evald Carlson "Mr. Partner".
