mechanics are responsible for diagnosing and repairing machines and performing
scheduled maintenance on your equipment at your job-site. Field technicians
are equipped with cell phones and are frequently routed throughout the day. Analyzers
are used to diagnose JLG machines with on-board computers which allow our techs
to use programmable codes to repair machines . In addition, Gold Coast
Hi-Lift deploys the same labor tracking and job costing system in the field as
in the shop. Any work performed is updated in the repair history and the equipment
file.
We manage four (4) mobile Preventive Maintenance Field Service
trucks company-wide and experienced technicians that perform these services
at the customers' place of business, or equipment job site.

Equipment Service Technicians perform some or all of the following
duties:
- Check aerial work platforms and rough terrain forklifts
for proper performance;
- Inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions and
diagnose to determine extent of repair required;
- Attach components, adjust equipment and repair or replace
defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools;
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to
ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications;
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance
work on equipment.
