Dewatering Pumps
Dewatering pumps are commonly expected to suck water out of a trench, unfortunatley that would be an incorrect expectation. Water will always take the path of least resistance; the dewatering pump provides the water with that path. Although there are two main designs of dewatering pumps, they both serve the same purpose; to move water from one point to another. At Gold Coast Hi-Lift, we rent both submersible and trash dewatering pumps. Submersible Pumps are ideal for removing water from confined areas. A compact design and high performance enables these pumps to get the jobe done where other pumps fall short. Trash Pumps are built to meet the requirements of the professional contractor. Trash pumps are used to dewater with high solid contents, such as leaves, sticks, and stones which easily pass through the pump.
